Hi I’m Jess, I am from Bristol, UK and I live between Colombia and England with my partner, son and daughter.
I have been treated with homeopathy since I was a child and it has enabled me and my family to overcome many acute situations and illnesses with the incredible power of homeopathic remedies.
As a creative, my art practice is fundamental to my health, so as well as a homeopath I am a practicing textile artist.
Having two branches to my working life allows me to stay healthy, creative, balanced and adaptable. Art and homeopathy are my medicine and intertwine in my life and work.
As a homeopath for over a decade I have worked with people with all manner of conditions and health challenges. However, my experience working in educational, creative, caring and therapeutic settings with many children and young people, including those with neurodiversity, and those struggling with mental and emotional challenges, means this is both my passion and my speciality.
I have both personal and professional experience of working and living with neurodiversity and the common challenges facing children and their families. I believe the systems of health and education available to us can often inhibit the true potential of each individual and only with a truly holistic approach and understanding can we tackle some of the barriers to an individuals ability to learn, adapt, create and thrive to the best of their abilities.
Another key area of my work is supporting whole family health through working with mothers on their own wellbeing and creativity. As mothers we have to understand our own health as intrinsic to our families and that the common state of burn out so many mothers find themselves in cannot be ignored.
I don’t believe in promoting ideals of perfection in health and lifestyles, I prefer to see and honor our unique journeys and see my role as supporting each individual towards a more resilient body, balanced mind and nurtured spirit.
